About this snippets template

Morse is a communication system that represents letters, numbers and symbols using dot (.) and dashes (-). It's named after Samuel Morse and was first used for telegraphy in the 1830s. Today, it remains active in amateur radio, aviation beacons and emergency signaling. Morse was standardized long before modern symbols like the asterisk became widely used in computing or mathematics. Only punctuation needed for telegraphy was included.
